The Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, visited Gillingham Football Club this afternoon. Mr Osborne was invited to the Club by Gillingham and Rainham MP Rehman Chishti. Mr Osborne spoke to the Club about the good work it does in the community and wished them well for their final game of the season. He also held talks with the Leader of Medway Council, Rodney Chambers, and Councillor Mike O’Brien. Mr Osborne acknowledged that Medway is well run Conservative led Council.
