Rehman Chishti MP thanked the voters of Medway for re-electing a Conservative administration, in Thursday's local election. Rehman said: "I thank the electorate for placing their trust in the Conservative administration, which has a proven track record for delivering value for money and delivering excellent front line services."
Rehman also thanked the electorate for voting No in the Referendum. Rehman commented: "The current first past the vote system, is a tried and tested system which allows one person one vote to elect a Member of Parliament, which I fully support, and which has been given the backing by the people of Medway."
Rehman today (saturday morning) held a street stall in Rainham to thank the electorate.
