Last Friday (23 November 2012) Rehman presented school equipment to local pupils and teachers at the Rainham Tesco Metro Store.
Those receiving the new educational, learning and sporting equipment under the Tesco for Schools and Clubs scheme included students from Thames View and Park Wood Schools.
This year Tesco for Schools and Clubs is celebrating its 21st anniversary, having provided more than 45,000 schools and clubs with over £185 million of equipment.
Last year in Gillingham and Rainham 87 schools and clubs collected 957,262 vouchers and 75 of them ordered equipment worth more than £25,000.
Rehman commented: "It was fantastic to meet students from Thames View and Park Wood schools and present them with new equipment from the Tesco for Schools and Clubs scheme."
