Rehman addressed delegates at a conference on perinatal mental health on Wednesday (29 June 2016) at the Universities at Medway.
He spoke about the changes in attitudes towards mental illness over the past few years and the commitment from the Government to improve the quality and provision of care.
He told the conference about his recent Private Members Bill to provide better access to specialist Mother and Baby Units in England.
