Rehman asked Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office Minister Nigel Adams to explain why the UK Government rightly enacted emergency Magnitsky-style sanctions against Belarus officials, but had not applied sanctions to Chinese officials over their actions in Hong Kong and the Xinjiang region of China, with regards to the abuses of the Uyghur people.
