On Sunday (11 January 2015) Rehman attended Reverend Bonnie Appleton's final service at St Matthew's Church in Wigmore.
Also in attendance was Reverend Peter Guinness, the former Vicar of St Mark's Church in Gillingham.
Rehman Chishti MP said:
"Bonnie has been a brilliant Vicar who gave so much to the local community. Her final service was wonderful. Both Bonnie and Peter have dedicated themselves to the local people, for which I wish to thank them wholeheartedly."
