Local MP attends St Mary Magdalene Church Christmas Fair
Member of Parliament for Gillingham and Rainham, Rehman Chishti, has attended the St Mary Magdalene Church Christmas Fair, with fellow Cllr Jan Aldous.
Commenting after the fair, Rehman said:
“As ever, I was delighted to attend the St Mary Magdalene Church Christmas Fair, with Cllr Jan Aldous, and see their fantastic selection of Christmas stalls.
“I would like to send my thanks to all the volunteers and organisations who made this possible, as well as those at Baptist Church Gillingham whose Fair I also attended at the weekend.
“In the run-up to Christmas, our local area has an excellent range of Christmas Fairs and bazaars full of community spirit and I urge local residents to take advantage of these, where they may also have the opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done!”
