Medway should have its own marathon or half marathon, according to the local MP.
Rehman has called for the local council to help host a Medway race across the towns.
He fired the starting pistol on the idea by recently meeting with the Race Director for the Headcorn half marathon. Mike Hawkins has put together proposals for a Medway marathon to showcase the local area.
Rehman has written to Medway Council asking them to consider the idea. He has previosuly completed twelve half marathons in support of local causes. Recently he completed the Headcorn race to raise funds for the Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust.
