Rehman thanked the Health Secretary Matt Hancock for his Statement on reforms to the Mental Health Act and praised the work of Sir Simon Wessley who helped shaped the reforms and who helped Rehman with his two previous Private Members Bills on mental health.
Rehman asked the Health Secretary if there were any proposals for a review period, for example in two years, to assess how the reforms were working in practise.
Rehman further asked what proportion of NHS frontline staff working in mental health and patients suffering from mental health issues have received the Covid-19 vaccine.
