Today Rehman welcomed DIT, UKEF and local business leaders to a roundtable to discuss how business can expand into the export market, for their own benefit and the benefit of the whole country. Gillingham and Rainham are home to some brilliant businesses that, with the support of Government, can develop and open new markets abroad. Graciously hosted in the Priestfield Stadium in Gillingham, the event was an excellent opportunity for local leaders to asks questions on how the government can directly support their endeavours.
