Rehman commented, “It was a real delight to host the Sport England exhibition in the House of Commons this past week, to allow Members of Parliament and Lords and visitors to Parliament to see at first hand the excellent work Sport England are doing across the country, to build on the Olympic legacy. It was great to see the competitive edge of all Parliamentarians trying out the British Cycling watt bike, to see who could cycle the fastest in 30 seconds. Many thanks to Sport England for hosting a fantastic exhibition, and I congratulate them once again on the excellent work they do.”
Rehman was pleased with being able to cycle 411 meters in 30 seconds......which lasted just over half an hour as top of the leader board.... Rehman promised to train harder for next year’s event....
