Rehman thanked the Health Secretary Matt Hancock for listening to faith communities' concerns regarding religious burial in the House of Commons debate on emergency coronarvirus legislation. Cremation in particular is not allowed in Muslim and Jewish faiths and Rehman made representations to the government over these concerns.
