Rehman today (14 January 2013) met with Chief Superintendent Neil Jerome, the Area Commander for North Kent and Medway, for a briefing on policing in Gillingham and Rainham.
Rehman was pleased to learn that crime has been falling in the constituency.
Rehman commented: "Gillingham and Rainham are my home towns where I grew up and I know they are safe places to live due to the work of the police, residents, the council and other agencies all working together."
