Rehman raised the case of illegal migration boats crossing the English Channel in response to a statement by the Home Secretary. Rehman emphasised that Kent is on the front line and the need to see firm and decisive action from the Government to tackle illegal boat crossings and what work is being done in addition to the UK-France agreement through the Lancaster House treaties on security co-operation.
