Rehman asked the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak MP, to explain the discrepancy between the 6-month statute of limitations for dealing with complaints whereas there is a 12-month limit for all other Ombudsmen, after the issue was raised with Rehman by a constituent.
The Chancellor agreed to look into the issue.
