In the House of Commons, Rehman raised with Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Jesse Norman MP, the concerns of local SMEs which at the start of the Covid-19 crisis transformed their businesses to help produce vital PPE, but as we begin to return to normal face economic hardship from cheap imports.
Rehman further asked if the Government would use its significant buying power to consolidate its procurement practises on the UK's SMEs to help them invest & compete internationally.
