Rehman spoke in a debate in the House of Commons on the 'Compensation (London Capital & Finance plc and Fraud Compensation Fund) Bill', following constituents raising their concerns with him.
Rehman welcomed the Government's commitment to compensation and urged the Government to prioritise those who suffered most and ensure that those who were responsible for fraud are brought to justice.
He also asked what action the Government was going to take to challenge false advertising and online harms, something that Rehman previously looked at when he served on the Home Affairs Select Committee, in relation to extremism.
