Rehman, in a Westminster Hall debate on 'Eye health and macular disease', raised the importance of public awareness of the symptoms of macular degeneration and called for the Government to ensure that there is a public awareness campaign so that people are more aware of the early signs of macular degeneration.
Rehman has spoken with surgeons on this issue, including James Neffendorf from King's College.
