Rehman, in questions to the Health Secretary Matt Hancock MP after his statement to the House on Covid-19, thanked the Health Secretary for granting the request for military aid to support rapid testing in Medway, following representation by Rehman, other Medway MPs and Medway Council.
Medway, and neighbouring local authority Swale, are currently recording the two highest Covid-19 infection rates in the country.
Rehman also raised the issue of health inequalities and their link to high Covid-19 rates and paid tribute to NHS staff across Medway Hospital for their fantastic work.
