Zerina Slade, Headteacher of Napier School, where Rehman was a former pupil, said:
"Rehman is a former student and we are proud of his achievements and what he does in the community to support us.
"He helped with our funding bid to expand the school and regularly hosts visits from students to Parliament. He is always there when you need to speak to him."
