Rehman spent a morning volunteering in the Scope Shop in Gillingham high street on Thursday (8 August 2013).
He said: "Scope carries out important work in our community supporting disabled people and their families.
"Spending time in the Gillingham Scope shop, working with volunteers and serving customers, is an excellent opportunity to see for myself the fantastic work they are doing to help raise funds.
"I would encourage anyone who is looking for a bargain or is able to volunteer some time, to visit the Gillingham Scope shop and help to make a difference to the lives of disabled people in Medway."
