On Friday 11 March Rehman Chishti MP spent the morning shadowing local Headteacher Mrs Kathy Frame at Riverside School to gain an insight into the work of a Headteacher.
Rehman said: "I am delighted to spend the morning at Riverside School; it is a very good school and I am grateful to Mrs Frame for providing me an opportunity to shadow her. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience."
Following the visit Mrs Frame commented: "Thank you very much for coming to visit and shadowing a morning in the life of the Headteacher. Our children need to know that they too can go on to play important roles in life and you can definitely inspire them just by visiting now and then."
Rehman has been invited back to the school next week to 'take' assembly with a pupil who is doing special for Comic Relief.
