Gillingham and Rainham MP Rehman Chishti visited Signal Court in Rainham where he met residents and staff and signed a petition calling for a Minister for Older People.
Rehman commented: “People deserve to be treated with dignity and respect in old age and I believe that a dedicated Minster for Older People will help to safeguard these principles.”
“I was delighted to meet the residents and staff at Signal Court; I have invited them all to Westminster for a tour of Parliament.”
