Art work created by pupils from Abbey Court School is this week being displayed in the Houses of Parliament.
As part of an International Schools activity, pupils created art canvas on an international theme. Eighteen canvases were produced covering a range of countries, from Botswana to Monaco, and using a variety of painting methods and materials.
Now Members of Parliament will be able to see eight of the works themselves during the week long exhibit in the Upper Waiting Hall.
The exhibit is being hosted by Rehman, who arranged for them to be displayed after seeing the excellent work earlier in the year.
Abbey Court has been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted Inspectors and is the only school in Medway able to cater for children with the most complex needs and has children with Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
On Monday (16 December 2013) pupils and teachers from the school attended an opening ceremony in Parliament.
