
Rehman joined pupils at Napier Community Primary and Nursery School to celebrate the importance of drinking milk as part of the World School Milk Day. He also judged the pupils’ poster competition on the benefits of drinking milk.
World School Milk Day was launched in 2000 and is organised by the United Nations. It is now celebrated in more than 30 different countries.
Rehman said: “Milk is a great source of nutrients and energy and plays a key role in maintaining a healthy and balanced diet, and I would encourage all students to drink it during the School day.”
