Rehman held a group video call with local faith leaders to listen to their views on the safe re-opening of places of worship.
Local leaders stressed that while places of worship will open for individual, private prayer from Monday 15 June, they were not required to do so and would only do so if they were confident it could be done safely. They further hoped that local communities would respect their decisions on this matter.
Rehman has fed these views into Government.
