Rehman was honoured to be conferred the Sitara-i-Quaid-i-Azam award of Pakistan, a country which is a key part of Rehman's heritage.
Rehman previously chaired the APPG on Pakistan, and led a delegation abroad, as well as welcoming future Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan & General Sharif to Parliament. As the Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Pakistan, bilateral trade between the UK & Pakistan increased by 10%.
