Rehman appeared before the Public Planning Inquiry of the Planning Inspectorate into the proposed Pump Lane development for up to 1,250 houses. Rehman gave evidence for why this unacceptable development should be rejected, as it encroaches on valued green spaces, is far too big and lacks the necessary supporting infrastructure.
Rehman has consistently opposed this development, along with local residents, since it was first proposed in 2019.
