In his third episode of 'In Conversation With', Rehman spoke with Sam Brownback, who served as the United States Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom from February 2018 to January 2021, a position which leads on advancing freedom of religion or belief around the world for the U.S. Government.
Prior to becoming Ambassador, Sam served as the Governor of Kansas from 2011 to 2018; as a U.S. Senator for Kansas from 1996 to 2011; and as the U.S. Representative for Kansas’s 2nd congressional district from 1995 to 1996.
Part 1 covers topics including the impact of Covid-19 on freedom of religion or belief; the situation in Myanmar; and the role of the UN with regards to freedom of religion or belief.
Rehman worked with Sam Brownback during Rehman's time as the Prime Minister's Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief from September 2019 to September 2020.
