Rehman welcomed a delegation visit from the Embassy of Kuwait to Gillingham and Rainham. Cultural Attaché Dr Fawzan Alfares and 1st Secretary Zaid Al Harb began by visiting the University of Kent’s Medway campus before moving onto the University of Greenwich’s Medway campus, where they discussed Higher Education synergies between Great Britain and Kuwait. The delegation then visited Gillingham Football Club, where they explored sporting collaboration between the two nations. Finally, they wrapped up their visit with a trip to Gillingham Mosque to meet with members of the local Muslim community, and to offer Friday Prayers.
