Rehman, in the Prime Minister's statement on his attendance at G7, NATO and Commonwealth Heads of Government summits, asked the Prime Minister if any discussions had taken place with Commonwealth governments on advancing freedom of religion or belief.
The UK is hosting an international ministerial conference on freedom of religion or belief on 5th and 6th July 2022, which Rehman signed off when he served as the UK Prime Minister's Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief (2019-20).
