Rehman welcomed the new £6.5 million ambulance service facility in Gillingham, which is now fully operational. It's the first in England to feature a make-ready contact centre for EOC & NHS 111. This initiative was first announced by the then Health Secretary during a visit to Medway Hospital following Rehman's invitation in 2018.
